Quality Statement

Last Updated: May 24, 2026

Pepsource was built around a simple standard: research compounds should be clean, documented, consistent, and backed by real accountability. Our quality process is designed to support researchers who expect transparency, careful sourcing, professional fulfillment, and documentation they can actually review.

Research Use Only

All products sold by Pepsource are intended strictly for lawful laboratory research purposes only. They are not intended for human consumption, animal use, clinical use, medical use, diagnostic use, therapeutic use, cosmetic use, or the treatment, cure, prevention, or diagnosis of any disease.

1. Our Quality Commitment

Pepsource is committed to providing research compounds with an emphasis on identity, purity, consistency, documentation, and customer trust. We work to source products from suppliers and testing channels that support analytical verification and reliable research use.

We believe quality is not a slogan. It is a process. That process includes careful supplier selection, documentation review, product inspection, clear labeling, organized fulfillment, and continued improvement as better testing and verification options become available.

Purity

We prioritize research compounds supported by purity data and analytical documentation whenever available.

Identity

Product identity matters. We support documentation that helps verify the compound being supplied.

Transparency

Customers should be able to review available COAs and lab results before placing trust in a product.

2. Testing and Documentation

When available, Pepsource may provide product documentation such as Certificates of Analysis, purity results, identity confirmation, endotoxin results, batch information, and related analytical data.

Testing methods may vary by product, batch, compound type, and testing agency. Common analytical methods may include HPLC, UPLC, LC-MS, ESI-MS, Karl Fischer moisture analysis, endotoxin testing, or other methods selected by the testing agency or supplier.

Available documentation can be reviewed on our COA / Lab Results page.

3. COA and Lab Result Transparency

A Certificate of Analysis, commonly called a COA, is a document that may show analytical information for a specific compound, sample, or batch. Depending on the testing performed, a COA may include identity data, purity percentage, appearance, mass confirmation, moisture content, endotoxin results, or other quality markers.

Pepsource works to make available lab documentation easy to find, easy to read, and connected to the product being purchased whenever possible.

Testing documentation is provided for research transparency only. A COA or lab result does not mean a product is suitable for human use, animal use, medical use, diagnostic use, therapeutic use, or clinical use.

4. Supplier and Product Review

Pepsource reviews products and suppliers with quality, reliability, documentation, fulfillment, and customer confidence in mind. We look for products that are supported by traceable documentation, consistent presentation, and appropriate handling standards.

We do not believe in mystery compounds, sloppy labeling, or blind trust. If a product cannot meet our expectations for documentation, presentation, and reliability, we may remove it, replace it, hold it, or refuse to stock it.

5. Packaging and Fulfillment Standards

Pepsource works to package and fulfill orders with care. Products should be clearly labeled, professionally packed, and shipped in a way that supports a clean and reliable customer experience.

Fulfillment standards may include visual inspection, order verification, secure packaging, tracking availability, and support for customers who experience missing, damaged, or incorrect items.

Once a package is transferred to the shipping carrier, transit speed, scanning updates, delays, routing, delivery attempts, and final delivery are controlled by the carrier. For more details, review our Shipping & Returns Policy.

6. Storage and Handling

Research compounds may require specific storage and handling conditions depending on the compound, form, documentation, and intended research setting.

Customers are responsible for proper storage, handling, labeling, documentation, and disposal after delivery. Pepsource is not responsible for product degradation, contamination, misuse, improper storage, improper handling, unauthorized transfer, or use outside lawful research settings after delivery.

7. Independent Lab Test Refund Guarantee

Pepsource stands behind product quality with a direct and simple promise. If a customer receives a vial that is independently tested by a qualified third-party testing agency and the report shows that the affected vial is below 98.0% purity or fails endotoxin testing, Pepsource will provide a full refund for the affected vial, subject to the requirements below.

Our Guarantee Requirements

To qualify for the Independent Lab Test Refund Guarantee, the customer must provide Pepsource with:

  • A direct public link to the report on the testing agency’s official website.
  • The original Pepsource order number.
  • The product name, vial size, and batch or lot number if available.
  • Clear photos of the affected vial, label, packaging, and any batch-identifying information.
  • A report from an independent testing agency that is not owned, controlled, or financially influenced by the customer.
  • A report that identifies the compound tested, testing method, test date, and final result.

Screenshots, edited files, forwarded PDFs, social media posts, private uploads, cropped images, unverifiable documents, or reports that cannot be verified directly on the testing agency’s official website are not sufficient.

For purity claims, the report must show a measured purity below 98.0% using an appropriate analytical method, such as HPLC, UPLC, LC-MS, or another recognized method suitable for the compound being tested.

For endotoxin claims, the report must show a failed endotoxin result or a result above the applicable pass threshold stated by the testing agency for that test.

Approved refunds apply only to the affected vial that was tested and verified. The guarantee does not automatically apply to unrelated products, separate batches, transferred products, used materials, improperly stored materials, or products outside the original Pepsource order.

Pepsource may request additional information to verify the report, product identity, batch identity, chain of custody, storage conditions, or order details. Pepsource reserves the right to deny claims involving altered reports, unverifiable testing, suspected tampering, sample mix-ups, fraud, abuse, improper storage, or reports that do not clearly match the product purchased from Pepsource.

8. What Our Quality Statement Does Not Mean

This Quality Statement does not mean Pepsource products are approved for human use, animal use, clinical use, medical use, therapeutic use, diagnostic use, cosmetic use, or any form of personal use.

Testing, purity documentation, COAs, endotoxin reports, or other analytical results do not change the research-use-only status of Pepsource products.

Pepsource does not provide medical advice, dosing instructions, administration instructions, treatment protocols, veterinary guidance, cosmetic-use recommendations, or any guidance related to human or animal use.

9. Continuous Improvement

Pepsource is committed to improving our quality process over time. As better testing options, supplier standards, documentation tools, and fulfillment systems become available, we may update our quality practices to better serve researchers and protect customer trust.

Our goal is not to be the loudest research supplier. Our goal is to be the one customers trust because the work behind the bottle is visible.

10. Questions About Quality or Lab Results

For questions about product documentation, COAs, lab results, batch information, order issues, or quality concerns, please contact Pepsource through our Support page.

For order-specific questions, include your order number, product name, vial size, and a clear description of the issue so our support team can review the request properly.

Quality is not decoration. It is the promise under the label.
